Corporations and businesses can contribute to the work of City Harvest in a variety of ways:
Truck Sponsorships | Corporate Grants | Sponsorships and Events
Holiday Cards | In-kind donations | Food donations | Non Event
Truck Sponsorships:Make a great impact in the fight against hunger while getting huge visibility for your company. $175,000 sponsors a City Harvest truck route (lease, fuel, tolls, insurance, driver, etc.) for an entire year - and for an entire year your company's name and logo are emblazoned on one of our trucks as it travels the five boroughs. Truckside advertising such as this can cost up to $200,000 a year, plus this sponsorship is tax-deductible. Please contact Erin Bennett or call 917.351.8788 for more information.
Corporate Grants: We accept one-year and multi-year grants for general operating support and for various programs such as: Produce Collection, Food Safety Initiatives, Nutrition Education, Equipment, the Kosher Initiative and our new Community Kitchen. Please contact Michelle LeMay Santiago for more information or call 917.351.8782.
Sponsorships and Events: City Harvest offers many event and food drive sponsorship opportunities. Sponsors receive benefits such listings in invitations, journals and our newsletter; placement in New York Times ads, and signage on our trucks and at events (depending on the type of sponsorship). City Harvest is a recognized name and brand that brings added value to our corporate partners. City Harvest sponsors include Food Network, FedEx, Random House, Credit Suisse, and Babcock & Brown. Please contact Erin Bennett or call 917.351.8788 for more information.
Holiday Cards: During the winter holidays, City Harvest offers custom-lasered greeting cards for businesses and others to send to their colleagues, clients and friends. Click here to order cards.

In-kind donations: City Harvest is continually seeking donations of products and services to keep our costs down and direct our limited financial resources towards feeding the hungry.
We often need: gently used office equipment, kitchen equipment, fork lifts, pallet jacks and other trucking supplies, printing and mail services, photography, and gift items, hotels, airfare, dinners, etc. for our annual auction. Please contact Erin Bennett or call 917.351.8788 for more information.
Food donations: If your company has a cafeteria, please encourage them to donate their leftovers to City Harvest on a regular basis. Here are some examples of companies that do this. If your business has an event, party or meeting with a substantial amount of leftover food, please call City Harvest at 917.351.8700 and we will pick it up. Don't forget to try to keep it covered and cool! See our donation guidelines.
Non Event: Tired of those endless office holiday parties? Wish your company wouldn't spend so much when so many people are hungry? Well many companies opt out of the same old same old holiday celebration and give in the spirit of the season by donating the funds they would have spent on a party to City Harvest — we'll put it to immediate good use. Please contact Erin Bennett for more information.
