About City Harvest Volunteers
City Harvest was started by a volunteer, and volunteers still help City Harvest feed hungry New Yorkers today. City Harvest gets help from over 1,800 individual volunteers and hundreds of New York organizations and corporations. They do it all for the same reason; they want to help people in need. Join the front lines of the fight against hunger - become a City Harvest volunteer.
If you would like to volunteer with us, we hold general volunteer orientations on the second Tuesday of every month at 575 Eighth Avenue, 4th floor. Orientations are held at 6pm and last approximately an hour. To RSVP for a volunteer orientation, please contact Volunteer Services or call 646.277.7821.
